If you are looking to do activities in Andorra with the family, Naturlandia is the ideal place. With children or as a couple, your visit to this natural park is essential. It is an adventure spot in the middle of nature with activities for all ages: from a typical animal park in the area to an adventure tour with zip lines and suspension bridges. The Tobotronc is the best known attraction, which combines speed and adrenaline in 5.3 km in length and 400 meters of unevenness. It is the largest alpine slide in the world!

Mirador Roc del Quer
The Canillo viewpoint on which you will feel the sensation of flying: it is a 20 meter platform (8 on solid ground and 12 suspended in the air) above the valley. One part of the platform is glass, so get ready for an unforgettable experience!
A lake of the most accessible from the capital with routes of 2 to 5km from Encamp and Andorra. There are no excuses for not visiting it! Its waters are currently used to supply the country's power plant. On the way to the lake you will find the church of Sant Miquel d'Engolasters with its bell tower almost 18 meters high.
La Noblesse du Temps
It is a sculpture by Salvador Dalí that was installed in Andorra in 2010. The work was ceded to the Government by the artist's art collector, Enrique Sabater, in 1999. Enjoying it is a privilege and is in the center of the capital!
La Casa de la Vall
In the same capital, you can find one of the most important historical buildings in the country. It dates from the end of the 16th century, being the seat of one of the oldest parliaments in Europe, the General Council, created in 1419. Right next to it is the Plaça del Poble, where the Romanesque Church of San Esteve is located. Of the original construction only the Romanesque semicircular apse, built in the 13th century, is preserved. A beauty in the center of Andorra!
WHAT TO BUY IN ANDORRA
The best option in terms of walking and shopping is in Andorra la Vella. Strolling through its historic center and its main avenues, you will be able to get lost in a sea of shops (and very low prices without VAT, it must be said), while you breathe fresh air and hallucinate with the mountains that surround the city.
This avenue crosses the capital of Andorra from west to east and is the main commercial artery of the city. The street changes its name when it enters Escaldes-Engordany and becomes Carlemany Avenue. It currently has the lowest tax in Europe, being reduced to 1% in goods and services related to health, education, culture and food. You can find shopping centers such as Pyrénées, E.Leclerc and Illa Carlemany where to find high standing brands, Fnac bookstores, Cinema, outlets, jewelry and perfumery, alcohol, tobacco (and chocolate!). And without forgetting to refill the gas tank, which is also cheaper!
For the more brewers, Andorra also has a craft beer factory. It offers tastings and guided tours to learn about the elaboration process.
Typical food of Andorra
The Andorran gastronomy is a cuisine based on products and recipes from the Pyrenees. There are very surprising dishes that you can try in the typical borda like l’escudella. Also noteworthy are the embotit, the trinxat, game meats or desserts such as the Andorran cream or the mel i mato.

In Andorra, summers are short with heat spikes, and winters are long, cold and dry and it is partly cloudy throughout the year. During the course of the year, the temperature generally varies from -6 ° C to 21 ° C and rarely falls below -12 ° C or rises above 31 ° C.
